University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) held a certificate award ceremony for participants who completed the Top Executive Program on China Business Insights and Network (TEPCIAN) Batch 2. The event was honored by H.E. Mr. Han Zhiqiang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand who presided over the ceremony and awarded each participant a certificate of completion. Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand and Chairman of TEPCIAN, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanavath Phonvichai, President of University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sauwanee Thairungroj, TEPCIAN Director, the participants of TEPCIAN Batch 1 and 2, UTCC executives, faculty members as well as staff joined in welcoming and congratulating the participants who completed the program at UTCC Event Lab, building 23, 7th floor on 29 November 2022.
During the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Mr. Han Zhiqiang also delivered an inspiring and insightful keynote speech. In his speech, he profoundly explained the great historical significance of President Xi Jinping’s attendance at the 29th APEC Informal Leaders’ Meeting and his visit to Thailand. He said that the visit was successful and fruitful, pointing out the right direction and injecting strong impetus into leading cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and promoting the long-term development of China-Thailand relations.
Ambassador Han comprehensively introduced the guiding principle of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, saying that the congress scientifically planned the goals, tasks and major policies of the development of the Chinese Party and the country in the next five years or even longer. Under the strong leadership, China will march towards a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization.
China’s new development will bring new opportunities to countries all over the world, especially neighboring countries including Thailand. Ambassador Han emphasized that China is willing to work with Thailand to seize opportunities, rise to the challenge, keep upright and innovate, and work together to build a more stable, prosperous and sustainable China-Thailand community of shared future, and jointly usher in a new era of bilateral relations.
